Plus Floating Shelf
The Plus shelf begins with its bracket — a plus-shaped wall mount in four powder-coated finishes that turns functional hardware into a deliberate design statement. Shelves are milled from 1-1/4" thick solid maple or rift-sawn white oak: substantial enough to hold weight, lean enough not to impose it. Sized to work beside a bed, a reading chair, or an entryway console, it earns its place on the wall.
The Plus bracket is also available separately for those working with their own shelf material — wood, stone, or otherwise. Each bracket supports up to 40 lbs. Select "Bracket Only" in the dropdown above.

Brooklyn designer Steven Gertner merges his grandparents' hardware shop legacy with Harvard Graduate School of Design training, creating contemporary storage solutions where craft precision meets spatial intelligence.
"The Plus pieces are not engineered to disappear into anonymous bits of hardware," Gertner explains. "They are designed to have their own presence, point of view and, hopefully, beauty."
